Wow Richard has absolutely transformed my house from top to bottom. There cannot be a better decorator anywhere locally and a major plus factor is he can turn his hand to many other trades. I think the most impressive part is the standards and attention to detail that he applies to his work. Very impressive.

Not only was the finish on the decorating perfection but Richard also went above and beyond on fixing things I hadn't even noticed myself but when fixed really stood out as amazing enhancements. I cannot thank him enough for the superb work.

I would highly recommend Richard. He takes a great pride in his work meaning that the finished result is superb. Unlike many decorators he believes that through preparation is essential to achieve a perfect finished result. Richard can be trusted to work and will send photos of his progress. We went on holiday for a week. On our return he had reassembled our bed so that following a long journey from Scotland we could just admire our newly decorated bedroom and fall into bed.

We have personally used RA Decorating several times now, as well as some of my family. It's not even an option or consideration to use anyone else as we know we won't get the same quality or customer service anywhere else. Don't hesitate to book!

Richard has just finished decorating our kitchen, dining room and hall. Excellent workmanship, attention to detail and he went the extra mile to make sure everything was finished on time and with the minimum of disruption. He also secured a cupboard that was in danger of falling off the wall in the kitchen. We'll definitely be asking him to more work for us.

Richard decorated our hallway and staircases and was excellent from start to finish. He has an eye for detail which was evident from his quote and from the finished product. Richard came to decorate three rooms. Two bedrooms and the lounge. We are thrilled with the results. Richard obviously takes great pride in his work and went over and above what we expected. In an old house we expected a few ‘hiccups’, he dealt with them all without a sharp intake of breath! He called in a plasterer for the wall he couldn’t do himself, this was also carried out to a high standard at a fair price. Richard is considerate and hard working and we would only want him to decorate our home. He does an excellent job for a fair price.

Richard has done a lot of work for us over the last couple of years. He takes great care in the preparation and the results are well worth the time he spends. If you have chosen expensive wall papers and you want them putting up correctly he is your guy! He is very neat and tidy and his communication is excellent.
